One of our PAs taught me this mnemonic for tests we'll probably run in the case of patients with syncope, near syncope, dizziness, and that whole batch of vague-ish complaints that cause providers to resist the urge to scratch their heads from time to time. T - Tilt (do orthostatic vital signs) I - Iron (blood counts) P - Pregnancy P - Pulse oximetry S - Sugar (check blood sugar) E - EKG E - Electrolytes

She added CT and CXR as well, but there's no way to fit those into the mnemonic.

It's a handy list if you're triaging or trying to figure out where to start before your patient sees the doc.
