Just got back from running errands and have warm fuzzies. I am shooting the rapids between my insurance ending and having an Exchange policy to tide me over until my insurance starts for my new job, so I was expecting to have a giant pharmacy bill. My friendly neighborhood pharmacist had already helped me out by figuring out how much each of my prescriptions would cost in cash. Today she rang up two prescriptions, a bag of cat litter, and a sack of M&M's (DON'T JUDGE ME!) and it totaled $32. I said, "No, I don't have insurance anymore."
She said, low, "I pulled together a few discount cards for you."
She saved me $194.
Things like this make me feel blessed. And remind me I need to do nice things for others just because I can more often!
