This video shows a woman tracking down the (huge room full of) people who helped save her infant son a decade ago. It tugs on the heartstrings, but more to the point: look at how many people are involved with each patient! You tend to forget how you're always part of a huge team whether you see them or not. Also, the one nurse says she's never been thanked, and the lady's surprised. I was lucky enough to be thanked after the fact in my first year after graduation, and it still gives me a nice warm feeling. We don't do it for recognition, true, but everyone likes to hear "you made a positive difference." Anyway, watch and enjoy!
