This is one of the TWO arrhythmias I had. The remaining one. The other one was successfully ablated. I'd never heard of it when I was told I had it, and it felt judgmental. "What do you MEAN, inappropriate???"
It really is a debilitating thing to have, so it's good to know about. Additionally, it often goes undiagnosed as psych/anxiety both because it kind of looks like it, really, and because many physicians have never heard of IST.
And as I've said before, if you have a tachyarrhythmia long enough, you ARE riddled with anxiety. "When is my heart going to try to jump out of my chest randomly?"
